Runnerbox

For almost a year, I’ve been subscribed to a different monthly “box” type  services.  First I subscribed to Naturebox, then I tested out Bulu, and somewhere in between I won a  giveaway for a monthly installment of  Bestowed.   Each box had a few items that I enjoyed, but I didn’t always think every item in these were something I would buy or try again.  My personal favorite has been my current subscription, which belongs to Runnerbox.

I’ll tell you why I am such a big fan.  There are over a dozen different items in each box that are geared directly to me as a runner.  I’ve received everything, from sports chews, fuel, goos, anti-chaffing cream, sunscreen, energy bars and snacks for on the go.  It’s been one of the best ways for me to taste-test and sample products that I am not familiar with or haven’t had the opportunity to try yet.

I was an instant fan when one of my boxes came with a pumpkin flavored Clif Bar.  (Delicious, BTW)

Tuesday, when I opened up the mailbox, I immediately smiled and felt a wave of anticipation when I noticed the box with the familiar packaging.  I didn’t get the chance to open it until later that evening, but it was well worth the wait when I discovered all the goodies inside.      rb_box

Can you believe how many amazing items came with this installment?

I was definitely amazed.  This has been one of the best installments yet.  And all of these items are extremely practical for me right now since I’m in the middle of half marathon training.  The ChapStick is going in my gym bag immediately, and I can’t wait to test out the difference snacks, vitamins and fuels.

If you are interested in Runnerbox, you can visit their website for more information, or you can browse through my pictures.  I’ve included a brief description of a handful of my favorites from this month, for your viewing enjoyment.

ChapStick Ultra 30:  ChapStick is always helpful and should be used daily to protect yourself from the sun’s damaging rays.  This ChapStick provides SPF 30 & seals in moisture for softer, healthier lips.

This looks amazing! I am definitely going to look into this box. There are so many subscription boxes, so I’m happy to finally see one specifically for runners. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Cynthia @ You Signed Up For What?!

I subscribe to the Tribox. I reviewed it on my blog last year and ended up subscribing. I took pics of my last box because I’m always curious what are in these things – I still need to post that! So fun to peek inside yours.

I’d love to see what other brands offer in their subscription boxes. I’ll keep an eye out for yours.

  3. Courtney @ Don't Blink. Just Run.

I think these boxes (especially this one) are all really interesting, but I’m too nervous I’d be wasting my money getting stuff I would never like (I’m waaaay too picky). I think, for me anyway, I’m better off buying something specific if I want to try it. I learn about a lot of products through all the blogs I read. ;)

Yes. If you’re picky, you might not get your money’s worth. Just today, we tried the chia fruit pouch, and it was a little slimey and off putting at first. And I love chia. So you’re probably smart to stay away.

I’ve kind of been interested in signing up for Runnerbox, and this post is totally making me want to sign up for next month’s box! i really need to try out different fuels for my long runs, and it seems like this is a good way to do it!

That’s exactly why I signed up.
